A Revolutionary Step for Regional Connectivity
The Aligarh Expressway, with an estimated cost of ₹1,620 crore, will be a game-changer for the region’s transportation infrastructure. Designed as a four-lane expressway, with provisions to expand to six lanes in the future, the expressway will cut travel time between Khandauli and Aligarh to just one hour.
The project is not just about convenience but a broader vision to boost connectivity in key areas:
Direct Route to Jewar Airport: Residents of Aligarh and Hathras will gain a faster and more efficient route to Jewar Airport, reducing dependency on congested alternatives.
Integration with Yamuna Expressway: By linking with the Yamuna Expressway, the Aligarh Expressway will enable uninterrupted travel to major urban centers and industrial hubs.
Support for the Aligarh Defense Corridor: The expressway will connect the Aligarh Defense Corridor to the Khandauli-Yamuna Expressway, facilitating improved logistics for defense manufacturing units and boosting industrial growth.

These features will create a world-class travel experience, making the Aligarh Expressway a vital asset for commuters and businesses alike.
Impact on Real Estate Market
The Aligarh Expressway is poised to have a transformative impact on the real estate market in the Delhi-NCR region. Here’s how:
1. Boost in Property Values
Enhanced connectivity always translates into increased demand for real estate. Areas along the expressway—such as Khandauli, Hathras, and Aligarh—are expected to see a surge in property prices. Proximity to a major expressway makes residential and commercial properties more attractive to buyers and investors.
2. Development of New Residential Hubs
The expressway will open up new areas for development, encouraging real estate companies to launch housing projects aimed at middle and upper-income groups. Affordable housing projects may also see a rise to cater to the growing population seeking convenient travel to urban hubs.
3. Growth of Commercial Real Estate
With improved access to Jewar Airport and the Yamuna Expressway, the expressway will attract industrial and commercial investments. This is particularly significant for the Aligarh Defense Corridor, as supporting industries and businesses will require warehouses, offices, and ancillary facilities.
4. Increased Rental Demand
Better connectivity to Jewar Airport and NCR will make areas along the expressway appealing to working professionals and students, driving up rental demand and opportunities for rental yields.
5. Infrastructure-Driven Growth
The expressway will catalyse the development of schools, hospitals, shopping centers, and entertainment hubs in its vicinity, further enhancing the appeal of living and investing in these areas.
Economic Growth and Job Creation
The construction and eventual operation of the expressway will generate thousands of jobs—both direct and indirect. It will also support industries reliant on logistics, such as manufacturing and retail. The economic ripple effect is expected to uplift the entire region, making it a model for infrastructure-driven growth.
The Aligarh Expressway is more than just a road; it’s a pathway to progress. It promises to reduce travel time, bolster economic growth, and transform real estate markets, making Delhi-NCR a more connected and livable region. For residents, businesses, and investors, this project signals a brighter future, with opportunities knocking at every milestone.
As construction gears up, the excitement is palpable. This expressway is set to redefine not just how we travel but how we live, work, and invest in the region.
